Friday's Letters ::: 12:13:13

Dear Sara and Jones:
We are so so sad to miss your big day tomorrow. We wish there was a way to be there and celebrate with y'all. But hopefully soon we'll live closer to you, and we can celebrate then! Love you guys!

Dear friends:
We've had to make the unfortunate decision to stay in St. Louis for Christmas break this year. My OB isn't crazy about me making the 14ish hour one way drive to the south while being 34/35 weeks pregnant. It honestly didn't cross my mind until she said something. And while I'm ALL about natural birth - I'm not all about birthing a baby on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere Illinois or Kentucky. I think it will be one of the first and only breaks that we won't spend with family - in the entire almost 5 years that we've been married. I've been trying to prepare myself for this. Decorating a little more. Making a plan so that we're not just sitting here. Thinking of all the free things to do here in St. Louie.

Dear Tom:
I'm so jealous that you have a phone where you can literally just "say" your texts or emails -and voila - there it is. So jealous. Looking forward to my upgrade in May. {And no, I don't want a phone for Christmas}. On another note - you're sooo close to being finished with this semester! So close!

Y'all, I think that's about all the letters I have. Not much going on here. I feel like my "nesting" is in full throttle as I feel like everything needs to be cleaned or purged - despite the fact that I don't even know where little girl is going to sleep. We're also planning to have a yard sale in the spring before moving, and I place stuff in the yard sale pile daily. It's been helpful to have a spot for the stuff we want to get rid of.

I told Tom to get November 1st in his head because that's the day each year that we'll take our Christmas photo so that I can have our cards ready to go Dec. 1st in the years to come. Just finished a ton of cards - and ain't nobody got time for all that while trying to make Christmas gifts.
