Friday's Letters 2:22:13
Dear Readers:
Feel like I've been away from y'all for a while. I've been here; just not here in this space. A blogging friend of mine has occasionally mentioned that she get's broke down with the motherhood. It's the perfect phrase for getting sucked into the daily cycle of mothering. It's a lot of work, especially the little ones who aren't self-sufficient in any way. This past week I was a stand-in-mom for the family I regularly babysit for. They have 3 kiddos: girls ages 10 & 7, and a little fella who is exactly a year and a week older than Simon. I have a new respect for moms with more than 2 kids. This business of raising humans is hard work.
{After picking the girls up from school on Tuesday I asked them if they're up for a challenge - up for doing something really crazy. They exclaimed YES - thinking we were on some top-secret mission. Then I told them it's going to the grocery store. They weren't so thrilled. But the purchase of Oreos was a good bribe.}
Dear 6ish inches of snow:
You're beautiful.
Dear Simon:
Remember when about a week ago you slept from 7pm to like 7:30, 8:30, 9?! Go back to that! Anyways, I love you still. And you only woke up once last night. I can handle that.
Dear Tom:
Thank you for your help this week - I couldn't have done it without you. For real.
Dear Etsy Orders that need to be made/completed:
