When Tom worked the other night, and Simon was a sleep, I thought I'd dabble in a little Turkey Day craft. Now, I may or may not have seen this idea somewhere, although, I've looked on pinterest, and I can't seem to find anything that's like this, so maybe, I came up with this idea.
I've been collecting corks from wine bottles for a large jar I want to fill, so I didn't have to drink a lot of wine to complete this craft. But, perhaphs you're feeling a little stressed, and you you'll need to drink 8 bottles of wine {or however many guests you're having} before Thursday so you can get your corks. Although, that's a lot of wine for 1 person, maybe call your friends to help.
First I gathered my supplies:
-various color of card stock
-wine corks
-hot glue gun/glue sticks
-scissors
I cut the card stock into 8 little sections.
Then I cut the little pieces into little "leaves" or feathers.
Hot glue your feathers to the back of your cork, and voila, you have personalized place-cards that you can make each year because it's so easy and quick. And if you have kids, you can let them make the turkeys.
