Friday's Letters ::: 8:31:12

If you spend any time in the blog world, you might come across the blog, or the mention of the blog, Adventures of Newlyweds: Friday's Letters. I believe my friend Kathryn told me about this blog over 2 years ago. Someone recently asked me if I'd ever thought about jumping on board, and my response was the same to the suggestion of posting on What I Wore Wednesday. I thought that I could never commit to blogging every Wednesday, I just don't like that kind of commitment. And let's be honest, these days on Wednesdays, I'm wearing Nike shorts, a t-shirt, and my Danskos. Quite a stylish look for sure. No one wants to see that.

But I'm finding it so difficult to blog regularly {and honestly I'd thought I would have way more time once I didn't teach -so NOT true}. So Friday's Letters seems like a good fit for me. I'm committing to trying to do it every Friday. Plus, you know I like mail. So here we go, my first letters.

Dear Lorine and Jonathan:
I'm so glad you're coming to visit! Since Isaac is coming to visit too, aren't you glad that we didn't plan to go camping? Drive Safely! PS - you guys are crazy. I can't believe you left at 3 a.m. to come and visit us. Just crazy.

Dear Stay at Home Moms Who Used to Work,
Why didn't you tell me this was going to be so hard?

Dear Simon,
People look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them you've been sleeping through the night since you were like 5 weeks old - good job. However, the little stunt you pulled last night, you know, waking up every 30 minutes, just after I fell asleep again, {for 5 hours!} let's try not to do that again.

Dear Meatball,
We're sad you got rubber stuck in your intestines. Get better soon. Your mama is really worried about you.

Dear Stinky Kitchen Sponge,
You're the worst smell - ever.

Dear Ben and Anna,
Thank you for making a pit-stop in St. Louie. We're glad we got to see you - even if it was for just a little while.
Dear Tom,

Thank you for working so hard. Taking a full load of classes, serving at a restaurant, being a good husband and diaper changer - I appreciate you.

{Ok - I enjoyed this.}
