keep your flowers fresh

While walking around our little abode I've noticed one thing about flowers. Sometimes they last. Sometimes they don't. I've already found that daisies are the cheapest flowers, to buy and they also stay alive the longest. I've also recently discovered that some daisies last longer than others.

Our first flowers for observation are these dying in a mason jar with murky water. Cause of death: too many flowers in a jar.

Second flowers for observation: these few flowers in my the little jars that are still kicking like the day I bought them {16 days ago}.
So for your cheaper folks like me who are trying to keep your flowers alive longer, just place them in smaller jars. AND you'll have more flowers to place around your place. That's what I call a win-win situation.
