one woman sweat shop and tunes

Hey there! I feel like I've been totally disconnected from the blog {sorry mom!}. But we are alive and kicking. Tom has already started his second class of Greek - which is just crazy {where has the summer gone?}. Have I mentioned how well he's doing? I've never seen him so focused about anything before. He's serious about becoming a preacher man.

Tom's parents visited us for a few days, and it was so good to have family here. We were able to have an extension of our staycation and see a few things that we weren't able to see on our break. We also celebrated Henry's birthday since we weren't able to make it to the real thing.

In between -looking for a job, trying to find ways to make money, interviewing for a job, searching for a job, emailing people about jobs, praying about jobs - I've been sewing like a mad woman trying to add more items to my little Etsy shop. I call it my self-made-one-woman-sweat-shop. I have some big things in store for the little shop that I'll share with you next week. In the mean time you can check out my new design:

Here is a short list of the songs that I've listened to about 27 times a day lately:
  1. Noche Nada by Givers
  2. Mr. Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra
  3. Every Teardrop is a waterfall by Coldplay
  4. Cold Feet by Liam Finn
  5. Pink Champagne by Venus Hum
  6. Ruby Blue by Roison Murphy
  7. Dog Days are Over by Florence & The Machines
  8. September by Earth, Wind & Fire
We're going to try to find some water this weekend - you know, like a pool or lake or something. I didn't expect St. Louis to get this hot, and Agnes is more depressed than ever. But you know that sun will just kill her with her black fur. What are your plans this weekend?
