Hart Cobbler

When you have a dinner party in the summer season, you must make a cobbler for your guests. Blackberry cobbler really is the best, especially if you can pick them from the wild.
Basic Cobbler Recipe
(can be used with any fruit)

*Preheat oven to 350 F
Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of butter melted at the bottom of a dish
  • 2 cups of berries (of any kind) - put them on top of the butter
  • then in a separate bowl mix 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
Then pour the mixture on top of the berries. (I'm not that much of a fruity dessert fan {which might be difficult to believe since I love fruit and I love dessert}, but what I like to do is mix the "batter" with the berries so that it's more cakey than cobblery) I hope that makes sense.

Bake for about 45 minutes and enjoy with some vanilla ice cream.
