Tom planting okra. Onion sprouts. First pepper. So now I know that I've spent too much time at our "farm" because I'm starting to have dreams about seeds and weeds overtaking my seeds growing.
Here Tom is planting our row of okra. Yesterday we planted spinach, squash, watermelon, laid down the rest of the newspapers in-between the rows to stop weeds from growing in the middle. We still have two rows left and no idea what to plant in them. Summer seems to come as quickly as a 2-legged turtle. 20 more days - I really cannot wait. Tomorrow I'm going to the pottery studio toget my craft on. I'm always really intimidated when I go; there is a potter who can whip up about 5 large pieces in the time that it takes me to mess up a 1 pound clay minature bowl that I'll never be able to use. I've thought about stealing one of his beautiful bowls - but alas - that would be stealing, and I don't want to get kicked out of the studio. Or have my mug shot in the Auburn-Opelika paper with headline, "Teacher steals bowl."
